A complex structure with advanced cities, specialized workers, complex institutions, record keeping, and advanced technology.

Includes common practices of a society (What people eat, clothing, sports, tools and tech, social customs, work), its shared understandings (language, symbols, religion, values, art, political beliefs), and its social organization (family, class and caste structure, relationships between individual and community, government, economic system, view of authority).

Evidence of early life preserved in rocks (like teeth, skulls, bones, etc)
