Communication

A set of symbols, that create a meaningful message

The process of producing and sending a message
Encoding
The process of receiving a message and making sense of it
Decoding
Who influence others while they influence you
Transactional
The study of morals
Ethics
Knowing and using a number of different behaviors to achieve appropriate communication
Behavioral flexibility
Behaviors that help communicators achieve their goals
Communication skills
Thoughts communicators have about themselves
Cognitions
The transactional model incorporating three contextual spheres in which individuals communicate
Competent communication model
