1
Q

water

A
  • Lack of water can slow or stop photosynthesis.
2
Q

temperature

A
  • Most plants function best between 0 and 35 degrees Celsius.
  • 0 leads to freezing and the water can’t move so photosynthesis cannot happen.
  • 35 leads to evaporation of the water and wilting will occur.
3
Q

light intensity

A
  • More light results in higher rates of photosynthesis.
  • This is not exponential though. Plants have a point where their rate of photosynthesis will level off even if you give them more light.
