A

Hot bleed air is taken from the engines the left hand and right hand air conditioning packs. The bleed air then enters the pack(s), goes through the 2 compressors where it is cooled. This cold air is then mixed with hot by-pass air to get the temperature correct. The conditioned air then enters the aircraft cabin and cockpit where it pressurizes the aircraft. The air is then allowed to escape from the aircraft at a controlled rate through the outflow valve.

A
