    - Misconduct by a Department employee not falling within the jurisdiction of the Inspector General.
    - Follow-up information regarding the arrest of a member.
    - Any instance of incompetence (i.e., repeated negligent of unsatisfactory performance of duties) so serious that the officer believes disciplinary charges are warranted.
    - Preference of charges against a member.
    - Misuse or misappropriation of the Department’s time.
