What are beliefs?
Ideas that people have about reality that are thought and felt to be true.
What are sacred stories?
Imaginative demonstration of a believed truth that can be oral or written.
What are spaces?
Designated areas within a place where the sacred mag be experienced and where commitment is demonstrated.
What are places?
Particular sites that represent the presence of the sacred.
What are times?
Ceremonies and rituals that form the rhythm of life of adherents
What are artefacts?
A source of identity, focus for prayer or a way to make public affirmation of their beliefs.
What are texts?
Compilations of oral and written literature where essential parts of a religious tradition are recorded.
What are rituals?
Behaviours that are repeated with the intention of expressing one’s beliefs and devotion within their religious tradition.
What are symbols?
Material objects used to describe or resemble something that is immaterial.
What is a social structure?
The interaction between individuals, groups and organisational systems.
What are ethics?
Guidelines that teach adherents about what is morally right and wrong from the perspective of a particular religious tradition.
What is a spiritual experience?
When a powerful emotion is stirred by an a counter affecting ones’ beliefs, emotions and other aspects.
What are places?
Particular sites that represent the presence of the sacred.
What are times?
