Phentolamine (Regitine)

A

Most commonly used to treat the extravasation of vasoconstricting drugs such as norepinephrine, epinephrine, and dopamine

Establish a diagnosis of pheochromocytoma

Reduces vascular resistance and treats hypertension

Contraindications are hypersensitivity, MI, and CAD
