Signs and symptoms: constant chills, overeating, fatigue or emotional ecvitation, griping pain in front of the heart on left chest, sudden and lasting 1-5 minutes, may radiate toward the left neck and shoulder and arm, accompanied by perspiration and pressure in the front chest, tightness and suffocation, fear and panic, short breath, breathing difficulty, pale complexion, cold limbs, purple dark tongue, wiry and retarded pulse

Signs and symptoms: sudden onset of stomachache and pain as sharp as if cut by a knife, love of warm and sometimes massage, rectus abdominus in a spastic and acute state, pale complexion, cold sweats, cold limbs or nausea and vomiting, eructation with odor and swallowing of of acid, white coating, wiry and tight pulse (form pain)

Signs and symptoms: sudden and acute pain in the right costal region in the middle of upper abdomen below the xiphoid process, continuous pain which intensifies periodically, radiates toward the right scapula region, pain worse with pressure, percussion pain and rebound tenderness, patient may curl up in bed, turning around frequently with anxiety, aversion to chills and fever (shaoyang syndrome), profuse cold seat, cold hands and feet, abdominal swelling, belching, nausea and vomiting
