Why was Jesus baptized if he had no sin?
The baptism of Jesus was a sign that he accepted his mission as Messiah. He was ready to proclaim and make present the Kingdom of God. He was ready to die for us. (Jesus' baptism was not a Christian baptism for the forgiveness of sin. It was a sign that he accepted his mission as Messiah. He took on the sins of the world.)
What was the epiphany at Jesus' baptism?
The Father's voice, the Holy Spirit like a dove descending upon Jesus, and Jesus the Son are revelation of the Trinity - the three Persons in one God.
