Happy New Year to everyone! We hope you had a wonderful 2010 and that you’re ready for all Brainscape has to offer in 2011. We’ve got a great year ahead of us, and since we’ve already released more than 20 apps in only the past 5 months, first we’d like to catch all of you up on the latest apps available on Brainscape’s iTunes store. We’d also like to remind you that we will be rolling out a WHOLE NEW WEBSITE in the coming weeks along with even more apps! Be sure to stay tuned in for the announcements. Here is a brief rundown of the apps we’ve recently released in case you haven’t been tracking our every move…or maybe you’ve been hiding under a rock the past few months:

Recent Apps: Language Learning Tools

If you want to brush up on your Spanish, French, Chinese and now even French Creole, then look no further: Brainscape has apps for all of them! And if you would like to study English vocabulary and are a Chinese or Spanish speaker (or if you know any), we also have an app for that! Our Language Vocab and Verb Genius packages are a great tool for learning a new language or to review something you may have let slip.

But if you really want to learn a language from scratch (like I am learning Spanish) then you should prepare for the soon-to-be released Sentence Builder apps we have in the works. The first to hit the market will be Spanish Sentence Builder which I use every day. It combines our CBR repetition system with our ICE language learning methodology. The two combined are an unbeatable system for mobile language learning!

Recent Apps: Free

There are also a number of free apps we have release recently that will stay free only for a limited time. The Enlgish Vocab for Spanish speakers is currently free, as is the Street Smart Drivers Ed app (more below). As a free teaser to the the World Geography Crash Course app we offer National Capitals Genius, and if you’re a vocab junkie, may we present to you: Vocab Junkie!

Recent Apps: Partnerships

In other news. Brainscape has teamed up with several educational content partners. So far we have released the Street Smart Drivers Ed app with Start Out Right and the French Creole for aid workers app with Burn Advocates Network. We have more partnerships in the works so get ready for lots of fun new content that Brainscape will let you learn really fast.
